Low range is a toggle. It gives the wheels more torque and lowers top speed. Rear view works only while you hold V.
Gamepad
On a standard gamepad, the left stick steers, the right trigger is throttle and the left trigger is brake. The right stick orbits the camera. Other defaults:
- View: recover
- Y: change camera
- Start: pause
- Right bumper: low range
- D-pad: rear view and headlights
You can change gamepad bindings on the controls screen.
RC transmitter
Breakover RC is designed to work with RC transmitters that show up on your computer as a USB joystick. Such a device starts with one axis for steering and one for throttle, where one end of the axis is brake. You can rebind them on the controls screen. Real-radio testing is still underway, and some radios need an adapter to appear as a joystick. No specific transmitter has been tested yet.
Map and menus
The map appears on the HUD after you finish a trail. The pause menu opens the course and settings screens.
