Regions and courses

A region sets the terrain. A course is one layout inside a region, built from a number and a difficulty. The same number and difficulty always give the same course.

Autumn Hills

Wooded hills, creek valleys and ridges, with a stream. Surfaces are grass, dirt, rock, mud and gravel.

Named courses: Spruce Knob, Owl Hollow, Heron Hill, Fern Knob, Beaver Creek and Aspen Dome.

Spruce Knob

Juniper Rim

A sandstone rim above sandy washes, slickrock domes, mesas and fins. There is no stream. Surfaces add slickrock and sand.

Named courses: Rabbitbrush Rim, Cliffrose Rim, Cottonwood Ledge, Saltbush Ledge, Raven Mesa and Lizard Wash.

Random courses and codes

You can also make a random course in either region. Course codes use autumn-<number> for Autumn Hills and juniper-rim-<number> for Juniper Rim. A course name followed by a number works, and so does a bare number once a region is selected.

On the course screen you can save a generated course. Saved courses are listed under their region and keep the difficulty you picked.
